PROTECTION OF PORT FACILITIES AND SHIPS

Brought into force on 1 July 2004 was an International Ship and Port Facility Security Code. It provides a legal framework for suppressing acts  against safety in the maritime transport industry. These regulations apply to passenger ships, including those of HSC type, cargo ships with a capacity of up to 500 GT (tank, chemical and container ships) and oil platforms, as well as to port facilities and installations. The implementation of the ISPS Code requires continuous and efficient collaboration of all port personnel.

The Baltic Sea is generally thought to be a safe body of water. But this is actually not true. Already now you can see a series of processes and phenomena in this region that may soon give rise to the occurrence of serious threats. Internal and above all external factors make it reasonable to play more attention and devote more effort to the security of port facilities and installations than before.
Since 2004 our company has been offering the waterside protection of port facilities and ships as defined in the ISPS Code.

We are the only company in Poland to provide such a service.
