CHEMICAL RESCUE SERVICE

The number of hazards and events requiring the intervention of chemical rescue teams has been increasing in recent years. To prevent such hazards and eliminate their possible effects, widely understood reconnaissance and prevention measures are taken, comprehensive organisational solutions are implemented and chemical rescue teams are trained to perform their actions even more efficiently.

The key responsibilities of the chemical rescue team include:

  • prevention and liquidation of chemical hazards in industrial facilities
  • action in emergency situations
  • cooperation with the National Fire Service
  • performance of particularly dangerous works such as elimination of tank leaks, fuel pumping, removal of oils and chemicals
